Context :
Style Department wants to reduce as much as possible the gap between the bonnet and the lamp which is a key point for perceived quality. Today many competitive OEM have a reduced gap, better than our current projects. One performance which limits to reduce the gap is the bonnet overslam. today, the PSA CAE method is not accurate enough : correlation level with physical are not good (for instance B71) and it is difficult to propose reduced gap with high confidence level.

It is proposed to improve the current overslam CAE method based on physical tests correlation (BX3 for example) with a trainee (Chinese) :
