Project Engineer / Project Manager (Trainee)– Construction

What responsibilities we require:

l  Perform engineering, procurement and construction work.

l  Responsible for managing all activities comprising the project to effect a totally integrated, co-coordinated and controlled effort so as to satisfy all set parameters, particularly safety, time, cost, scope clear responsibility and accountability for delivery of the project’s goals as set down by the client and/or Project Director.

l  Lead a team of subordinates, sub-contractors to execute projects in a timely manner, within budget and with optimum resources

l  Implement strict quality control on workmanship and material according to international and local standards

l  Review the tender drawings, review the design and recommend modifications to optimize the resources

l  Prepare the progress claims and variation orders

l  Serve as the key contact for communication efforts regarding project scope, planning, scheduling, manufacturing status, installation, field start-up and maintenance issues

l  Coordinate the project process including:  project design, approvals (local government), procurement and site construction.

l  Prepare paper work including: technical specification, contract, bidding document, fax, weekly/monthly report and minutes of meeting.

What candidates we are pursuing :

l  Strong academic background graduated from first-class university. Preferable with major in Civil, Architect, Structural etc.

l  3 years working experience in construction industry is required for project manager

l  Fluency in English, knowledge of further languages is plus

l  Familiar with all disciplines of the project team

l  Knowledge in international engineering and project management systems

l  Self-starter with strong passion and initiative for job. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

l  Cross-functional interests and ready to work in different locations/cities
