General Purpose

Our company is a foreign capital based consultancy company specialised in Business Management dedicated to sustainable development of public service sectors as of risk prevention, transport, energy and various urban network infrastructures.

In order to contribute to our IT department in charge of applications design, implementation, test and deployment near our customers we are looking for Software Engineer interns.

Major Missions and Responsibilities

Reporting to the project manager and based in Shanghai, the software engineer is in charge of:

ñ customers requirements analysis and systems specifications;

ñ designing and developing software applications in complex architectures (web,office, mobile) in the domain of Geographic Information Systems, XML Communication Standards, Graphical Interfaces on various supports (web, mobile, desktop, SCADA, ...)

ñ testing and validating applications according to specifications;

ñ contributing to the development of innovative solutions at the company level.

He/She will benefit from very challenging projects in an open, multi-cultural and innovative working environment.

Required Education Background and  Professional Profile

Holding a bachelor or above degree with at least 2 years significant professional experience in software development, the candidate must have the following skills:

ñ master modelling tools such as UML, XMI, XSD

ñ master technologies such as C++/Java/Flex/JavaScript/GIS/Open Source/Web 2.0

ñ develop in proprietary or in open source environment and in mobile environments;

ñ have an excellent interpersonal skill;

ñ comfortably integrate and be competitive in a multi-cultural environment;

ñ have an excellent command of English and Chinese. A second foreign language is a plus;

ñ have a strong commitment to quality.
