4月23日,同济大学法国高中生跨文化体验营在中法中心圆满落幕。来自法国利摩日圣约翰高中的21名学生和2名教师,与中法工程和管理学院代表共同出席了闭幕仪式。
中法工程和管理学院办公室主任张波在致辞中表示,本次体验营为两国青年搭建了文化交流的桥梁。他鼓励学生们继续保持对中国文化的热情,成为促进两国友好交流的使者。法国利摩日圣约翰高中教师代表萨拉-维图老师(Sarah VITTU)在致辞中对同济大学和中法工程和管理学院的精心组织表示感谢。她特别指出,此次体验营内容丰富、形式多样,为法国学生深入了解中国文化,探索未来学业发展路径,提供了宝贵机会。
法国学生代表们上台分享学习体会。他们纷纷表示,非常幸运能参加这次中国之行,感谢同济大学和利摩日高中提供宝贵的学习机会,两周的美好经历和结成的友谊值得一生珍藏。更有法国同学表示非常希望以后有机会来同济大学留学。
在为期两周的活动中,法国师生们参与了沉浸式汉语学习,深入体验了中国传统文化。他们先后走访了同济大学土木工程学院、建筑与城市规划学院和设计创意学院的实验室,实地感受学校的教学科研氛围。在国际足球学院的支持下,同学们还参与了一场别开生面的足球交流活动。
此外,体验营还安排了同济大学国家大学科技园、校友企业以及同济黄浦设计创意中学等地的参观考察。通过多元化的互动形式,法国师生们对中国教育体系和社会发展有了更加全面的认识。
同济大学“法国高中生跨文化体验营”是对2024年教育部“3年1万,欧洲翻番”倡议的具体回应。体验营由中法工程和管理学院在外事办指导下举办,得到了我校土木工程学院、建筑与城市规划学院、设计与创意学院、国际足球学院、创新创业控股有限公司、同济黄浦设计创意中学等单位的支持。
Tongji University-France High School Students Cross-Cultural Immersion Camp Successfully Concludes
On April 23, the French High School Students Cross-Cultural Immersion Camp at Tongji University concluded successfully at the Sino-French Center. The closing ceremony was attended by 21 students and two teachers from Lycée Saint-Jean in Limoges, France, along with representatives from the Sino-French Institute of Engineering and Management.
Zhang Bo, Office Director of the Sino-French Institute of Engineering and Management, Tongji University delivered a speech, stating that the camp has built a cultural exchange bridge between the youth of the two countries. He encouraged the students to maintain their enthusiasm for Chinese culture and become ambassadors promoting friendly exchanges between China and France.
Sarah Vittu, a teacher representative from Lycée Saint-Jean, expressed gratitude to Tongji University and the Sino-French Institute of Engineering and Management for their meticulous organization. She particularly emphasized that the camp, with its substantial content and diverse formats, provided French students with a valuable opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture and explore potential academic pathways for their future.
French student representatives took the stage to share their experiences. They unanimously expressed how fortunate they felt to participate in this trip to China and thanked Tongji University and Lycée Saint-Jean for the invaluable learning opportunity. They remarked that the two-week experience and the friendships formed would be cherished for a lifetime. Some students even expressed a strong desire to study at Tongji University in the future.
Over the two-week program, the French students and teachers engaged in immersive Chinese language learning and deeply experienced traditional Chinese culture. They visited laboratories at Tongji University’s College of Civil Engineering, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, and College of Design and Innovation, gaining firsthand insight into the university’s teaching and research environment. With the support of the International Football College, the students also participated in a unique football exchange activity.
Additionally, the camp included visits to Tongji University’s National University Science Park, alumni enterprises, and Tongji Huangpu Design and Creative High School. Through these diverse interactive activities, the French participants gained a more comprehensive understanding of China’s education system and social development.
The French High School Students Cross-Cultural Immersion Camp at Tongji University is a concrete response to the Chinese Ministry of Education’s 2024 initiative, 3 Years, 10,000 Students—Doubling Exchanges with Europe. The camp was organized by the Sino-French Institute of Engineering and Management under the guidance of the Office of International Affairs and received support from the College of Civil Engineering, College of Architecture and Urban Planning, College of Design and Innovation, International Football College, Tongji Innovation and Entrepreneurship Holding Co., Ltd, and Tongji Huangpu Design and Creative High School.
