French Chemist Pierre Audebert Visits Tongji University

On the afternoon of April 21, French chemist Pierre Audebert visited Tongji University, where he delivered a lecture at the Tongji University Chemistry Building and engaged in academic exchanges with faculty members. More than 40 participants, including faculty and students from the School of Chemical Science and Engineering and representatives from the Sino-French Institute of Engineering and Management, attended the event.

Professor Audebert was invited to speak at Tongji University's Advanced Lecture Series, presenting on the topic Tetrazines and Heptazines: Interesting High-Nitrogen Content Aromatic Heterocycles with Large Implications in Physical and Materials Chemistry. He shared the latest original discoveries in this field. Professor LIU Huajie, Vice Dean of the School of Chemical Science and Engineering, presented Professor Audebert with a lecture certificate. The event was also included in the 2025 Tongji University French Academic and Cultural Month Lecture Series.

Following the lecture, Professor Audebert toured the laboratories of the School of Chemical Science and Engineering and participated in the Tongji Bridge Sino-French Faculty Seminar, fostering academic dialogue with Tongji professors.

About Pierre Audeber
