Call for participation

From the 8th to the 15th of July 2023, in the framework of the Francophone Employability Center (Shanghai) (CEF Shanghai) and the Francophone Student Leaders Club (CLEF), Tongji University organizes the Summer School for students from Asia and the Pacific 2023, in Shanghai (China), about Innovation and Culture.

Through lectures, workshops, tours and cultural visits, the Summer School for students from Asia and the Pacific 2023 will analyze social and economic issues with academic experts, and, the practice and the efforts made by China in these areas nowadays.

Requirements to participate:

Students who candidates for the Summer School for students from Asia and the Pacific 2023: Innovation and Culture in China should be from the member institutions of the Asia Pacific region, and meet the following conditions:

1. French major and others majors are welcomed.

2. Be in last year of Bachelor or above.

3. B1 or above level in French and in English (in order to attend conferences, round-tables and to present the final project in English).

4. Have a team spirit and innovation.

5. Students from CEFs and CLEFs will be given priority.

Maximum of participants:

20 students.

Application process:

-Fill the application form attached (in English or in French)

-Resume (in English or in French)

-Proof of the B1 or above level in French and in English

-Copy of the 1st page of the passport (or ID Card for people with Chinese nationality).

Registration process:

The list of the students as well as their applications should be sent by the home university to Ms. Chen Yu: chenyu@tongji.edu.cn before the 31st of May 2023.

Note:

The students will receive our confirmation notice prior to the 5th of June. They must send the copy of travel insurance prior to the 11th of June in order to receive a formal letter of invitation from us. In the case of the travel insurance is not provided or does not cover the duration of the stay, Tongji University has the right to reject the application.
